Huawei has just announced a mid-range smartphone packing a quad-core processor and a 4.5-inch HD display – the Ascend G615.
Aside from the 4.5-inch IPS HD display
with a resolution of 1280 x 720, the Ascend G615 sports an 8 megapixel
camera with dual-LED flash, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with
microSD support, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 2,150 mAh battery, and powered by
Huawei’s in-house processor – the 1.4 GHz quad-core HiSilicon K3V2.
The Huawei Ascend G615 comes with Android Ice Cream Sandwich
out of the box. A temporary setback since it will be updated to
Jellybean in March. No details on pricing yet but it is set for release
in Germany starting next month.
