After all the custom/unofficial ROMs and the fuss about the handset not getting the Jellybean update
because of its hardware configuration, the long wait is finally over as
Samsung brings the highly anticipated upgrade to their ex-flagship
smartphone.
The roll out started in Spain with other regions pledged to follow
soon afterwards. Unlike the ICS update, this one brings significant
difference to the ageing handset and brings it at par with its younger
siblings (in the OS standpoint at least). Details of the update can be
found here.
Local roll-out date remains a mystery until now, but we’ll update
this post once we get news about it. For the time being, it’s best if
you check your phone for the said update once in a while and maybe tip
us once you have it.
