About The Deal
Listen closely and learn how music and the human body work together with this incredible CashCashPinoy deal only P349 instead of P500 for an entrance pass good for 2 persons to BIORHYTHM at The Mind Museum! Learn how the music and your body interact through fun and informative installations.
If you’ve ever wondered how music can make you feel happy, sad, or triumphant, then you’ve got to head on to The Mind Museum’s limited hosting of BIORHYTHM: An Exhibition Exploring the Relationship Between Music and the Body. There are numerous fun installations that teach visitors different ways that humans react to music and vice versa.
Experience music beyond headsets and speakers starting with “Something for the Girl with Everything”, it’s a chair where you can feel sonic charges through your body by adjusting the voltage-controlled oscillators. Lie down on the Klangkapsel and listen to recordings directed at different points of the body. You’ll be lying down but feel like you’re cycling thanks to the various recordings that create a 3D sound experience. Don’t skip the Heart ‘n Beat because Lego bricks act as your musical tools by strategically placing them on a special sound board. You can also make sound effects by sliding your credit card and adjusting the tune on another machine. You can even play with one of Sheldon Cooper’s favorite instrument, “The Theremin Inspector”. In one episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” Dr. Sheldon could be seen playing with the instrument by moving his hands in thin air and not touching any controls.
There are many more installations to see and explore at this travelling exhibit that originated in Dublin, Ireland. Before landing in the Philippines, BIORHYTHM was in the Science Centre Singapore last August and at the 2011 World Science Festival in New York, U.S.A.
