Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system celebrated its 88th day last monday, and will continue to offer discounts this month.
Customers who bought a Windows 7, Vista or XP-operated computer before
June 1, 2012 can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for $14.99 or around P645,
while those who purchased a Windows 7 PC between June 2, 2012 and
January 31, 2013 may get the upgrade for $39.99 or around P1,700 by
visiting www.windowsupgradeoffer.com
An upgrade through the packaged DVD version, which is available in major retail stores, costs $69.99 or around P3,500 only.
The promo is valid until January 31, 2013. Starting February 1, upgrade
editions of Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro will be offered at $119.99 or
around P8,900.

Launched last October, Windows 8 incorporates the familiar PC desktop
with tiles that contain applications and tasks that change and update in
real time.
