It seems that Cherry Mobile is not yet done hitting all kinds of
screen sizes for their Android smartphone lineup. They recently
announced the Cherry Mobile Cruize with its 5.2-inch touchscreen which
will only retail for Php4,499.
Why is it cheaper than the 5.0-inch Titan? Or rivaling the price of
the 4.0-inch Flare? Well, for one it only has a single-core 1GHz
processor so it’s made for the casual smartphone user. Then it also only
has a WVGA screen on its humongous display. That’s 800 x 480 resolution
for you which results to poorer pixel-per-inch density than the Titan
which has the same screen resolution.
It does have dual-SIM support just like most of Cherry Mobile’s
current smartphones. Everything else is quite standard : 512MB RAM, 4GB
internal storage with microSD support, 5MP rear camera with flash, VGA
front camera. What’s notable is its 2,500mAh battery which should make
it last a little bit longer than their previous dual-SIM Androids.
The Cherry Mobile Cruize is already available in the market for
Php4,499. If you don’t have the budget for the Titan but size is a
priority, the Cruize can be the phone for you.
